Friday Night Cat Blogging Rockfest!

Yes, that's right, I have demanded that the regular Friday features on Indecent Digit be combined into one glorious celebration of a week well tolerated. The audio links will open in their own windows from now on so that you can more freely enjoy them while viewing your favorite Kitty porn:

And speaking of tolerance, you'll need a whopping great sack of it to stomach the evils catalogued on today's Media Matters for America postings. If you then find yourself in need of a "pick-me-up", you can reach for the big guns:

FUGAZI: Merchandise

And if that doesn't do it for you, join us tonight for beer and burgers at The Iron Rabbit, and have a Fab Friday, "blockwatchers"!

(And thanks again to the good people at Archive.org's Live Music Archive for the live rock!)

Digit's "World of Horrors"

This story from the BBC/Sploid was so disturbing to me that I felt it deserved to have a special new Indecent Digit Column created in its honor.

What's next, "Killer Shrews"?

Televangelists for Indecency!!!

Well, it's about time!!!

[And yes, I'm on a Raw Story roll today...]

As an aside, wouldn't it be great if you could choose to only receive the cable channels you actually wanted to watch? I'd have cable if that were the case! We should start a petition or something! Just think of all the C-span I'm missing!!!

[Update: The FCC aggrees with me, for once].

Quote of the Day

From this article by Martin Van Creveld in Forward via The Guardian (and in turn via The Raw Story, as was the previous post):

"For misleading the American people, and launching the most foolish war since Emperor Augustus in 9 B.C sent his legions into Germany and lost them, Bush deserves to be impeached and, once he has been removed from office, put on trial along with the rest of the president's men. If convicted, they'll have plenty of time to mull over their sins."

...in case you missed it, that makes the war in Iraq the most foolish war in 2000 years...

Way to go, America!

The Weekend That Wasn't

Ah, Monday! A day to reflect upon the weekend I've just squandered...

I had two plans for my days off: I wanted to do a bit of recording with some stuff I borrowed from Devilgetout, and to see the aforementioned Sandman Show on Saturday.

Sadly, I failed on both fronts.

I hope you all had better luck!
