Robotic New Year Greetings!

To honor the passing of the most depressing year ever, please enjoy the ancient 1000 DIVING ROBOTS tune, The New Austin. It only contains one tiny reference to New Years Eve (the rest of the song is mostly about Days of Our Lives), but I hope you're drunk enought to like it anyway.

Happy New Year!!!

Friday Night Cat Blogging Rockfest!

The "vacationing" Digit says:

"It's the last FNCBR of 2005, and not a moment too soon. You deserve something special for making it this far:

fIREHOSE: Brave Captain (Live in Brussels, Belgium, March 12th, 1991)

Enjoy it while playing KITTENWAR (but if anyone posts my picture, I'll be pissed!).

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!"

White Men Don't Bomb?

I meant to post a link to Joe Scarborough's passionate defense of racism a week ago, but everytime I try, I spend the night throwing up. What a loathesome man.

If anyone feels like it, please send him an e-mail (I'm not posting his address, although it's readily available on the MSNBCTV "Regular Joe" site) reminding him which "young, Arab males" bombed a certain Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in 1995.

Really? Ya' think?

Sure, we all knew it, but now it's on Reuters...

Sweets dreams!

Monsterpussy

Now that I've got your attention, I direct you to this tale of feline adventure. I first heard about this on NPR this morning, but CNN was bored enough to consider it newsworthy as well.

See? It's not all bad...

Baby Bottles

When I read the headline, I giggled. By the time I got to the end of the story, I needed a shower...

"The toddler was taken to the hospital, where tests revealed he was legally intoxicated, with a blood-alcohol content of 0.094 percent, the sheriff's office said. In New York, a driver is considered drunk with an alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater."

If you need to find a silver-lining in this story, then just remember that only one of the toddlers present was drunk, so technically there was a designated driver present.

Things you hope to never see...

Normally, any story that mixes politics and porno would be right at home on a site called Indecent Digit, but I just can't get my mind to crawl past the initial wave of revulsion of seeing George Bush with female breasts.

The money quote:

"The borders of good taste and reasonableness have been crossed by a long way."

...yeah, but it is also kinda funny...

What really scares me is that there may be a market for this in the post-Gannon world.

Raw Story has links within the story that will lead you to the pictures. I, however, just don't have the guts....
